Elastic Grid LLC is a dynamic international company that focuses on creating infrastructure technology that deals with distributed computing challenges found in the development, deployment and management of applications in public or private clouds.

Elastic Grid customers benefit from the ease of deployment and scalability of their applications, shortening the life-cycle of bringing applications online and dynamically scaling their applications to meet real-time needs. We enable this by providing a dynamic architecturally independent infrastructure automating the build, deploy and manage process.

Elastic Grid also has strong roots in the open source community, and contributes to a number of open source projects including:

• Rio Project: Rio is an open source technology that provides a dynamic architecture for developing, deploying and managing distributed systems. Rio provides QoS based management for distributed systems, providing a policy based approach for fault detection and recovery, scalability and dynamic deployment.
  
• Typica: Java API easing access to Amazon Web Services like EC2, SQS, SDB, FPS (for which we contributed the implementation) and DevPay LS.
• JiBX: Framework for binding XML data to Java objects with more performance and flexibility than the alternatives.
